Dog Sledge The Kings Way

Dog Sledge the crossing from Norway into Sweden |  8 days

This dog-sledging expedition takes us along the King’s Way from the dramatic high peaks and rock faces of Norway to the vast open plateaux and lakes of Sweden. There will be opportunities for dog-sledging along frozen rivers and lakes and exploration of the varied countryside around Kiruna. The expedition ends near Jukkasjarvi where the famous Ice Hotel is located. Made using ice from the Torne River, it is the largest igloo in the world and features ice sculptures, a cinema and the Absolut Ice Bar carved entirely from ice. We can organise a night or two in the hotel for those who want to experience this unique accommodation.
