As you read this, I am preparing for two trips that could not be more contrasting – exploring the icebound natural beauty that is the west coast of Greenland and hiking, snorkelling, rafting and orang-utan scouting on the magical Indonesian islands of Bali, Lombok and Sumatra. It really has been a hugely busy year for me with a record number of you choosing to travel despite the trials and tribulations that kicked off in the Middle East in Spring. Perhaps because of this, we’ve seen an increase of last-minute bookings so let me reassure you there is still time to book that late autumn or Christmas break.
